Who we are
Dobrifon Pty Ltd (“Dobrifon”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and is the responsible party for the personal information you send us through it, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA) of South Africa.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, telephone number (optional), country, and the products and message you provide.
Like any web server, ours may record technical data about each visit (for example your IP address, the page requested, the date and time and your browser type) in its access logs. We use these logs only to keep the website secure and running, and we keep them for a limited period.
Why we use it
We use your details to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotations and manage the resulting business relationship. We process them because you asked us to, and because it is in our legitimate interest and yours to deal with an enquiry properly. We do not sell your personal information and we do not send marketing to people who have only used the enquiry form.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not set cookies of its own, and it does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies or tools. For that reason we do not show a cookie banner.
Two small items are kept in your browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is never sent to us: your language choice, and your enquiry list, so that it is still there when you fill in the form. You can clear them at any time in your browser settings.
The contact form uses a security check (Google reCAPTCHA), described below. It loads only when you start to use the form, and it may read or store technical data in your browser for the sole purpose of telling people from bots. If we ever add analytics or marketing tools, we will ask for your consent first and update this notice.
Security checks
To protect the form from automated abuse we use Google reCAPTCHA, provided by Google LLC. It may process technical information such as your IP address, browser characteristics and cookies set by Google to distinguish people from bots. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to its use. Enquiries are also subject to rate limiting. For this we keep only a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address, which cannot be turned back into the address.
Sharing and transfers
Your enquiry is delivered to our mailbox. We may share relevant details with suppliers, carriers and customs agents strictly as needed to quote and fulfil your request. Our service providers (such as hosting, email and Google) may process information outside South Africa. Where that happens we take steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to POPIA.
Security
We protect personal information with technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted email delivery, restricted access and monitoring. No online system is completely risk-free, and if a breach affecting your information occurs we will notify you and the Information Regulator as the law requires.
Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to deal with them and to meet legal and accounting obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
Your rights
You may ask us whether we hold personal information about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing, subject to the law. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
